Brief Description:
A vendor for Cornell’s SSL certificates has reported issues that may cause slow connections or certificate errors while connecting to some https websites. They are working on the problem.
Current Status:
The vendor has announced they believe the issue has been mitigated and they have minimized further disruptions. They are continuing to monitor for potential problems.

On Saturday, August 12 at approximately 6am EDT, Mediasite Video Cloud services experienced a technical issue that has caused a persistent outage. The outage impacts all Mediasite sites being hosted in the Mediasite Video Cloud.
Current Status:
Sonic Foundry has announced and testing has confirmed that Mediasite service has been restored.

Performance Issue: Apple Mail in older versions of macOS with Office 365

Brief Description:
Some individuals have encountered issues using Apple Mail in versions of macOS older than Sierra (10.12). Updating the operating system appears to fix the problem in most cases, or contact the IT Service Desk to be added to Cornell's case with Microsoft.
Current Status:
Microsoft has reported that the fix is fully deployed and they have confirmed that the issue is resolved. Anyone still encountering the problem should contact the IT Service Desk.

Performance Issue: Brief Directory server unavailability Aug. 7, 2017

One of the four Directory servers was performing irregularly from around 11:30am to around 1:20pm on Monday, August 7, 2017. This issue may have caused problems for queries directed to that server. The other three servers were not affected by the issue.
Current Status:
The server appears to be behaving normally now, and Cornell engineers are continuing to monitor performance.

Performance Issue: E-list Delays

The main e-list (Lyris) server started having issues at 6:45am July 31, 2017. The web interface was restored about 8:45am. E-list email is still encountering delays.
Current Status:
The problem has been resolved and as of 11:25am all pending e-list email has been delivered. The main e-list server is caught up and back in normal operation.
