Performance Issue: Email users unable to forward or receive external email

Brief Description:
Email users may be unable to forward or receive external email.
Current Status:
The issue affecting email forwarding has been resolved. Student users concerned about mail that may not have been forwarded have an Office 365 mailbox where they can read or retrieve any mail that was not forwarded, at https://outlook.office.com/ (sign in with Cornell credentials). Faculty or staff users who have followed CIT recommendations to keep a copy of their email in their Office 365 Mailbox can do so as well. If faculty or staff have chosen to forward only, without keeping a copies of email in Office 365, they will need to contact the sender to have the affected mail re-sent. Alumni email accounts were not affected by this issue. Alumni email accounts use a different forwarding mechanism that was not affected.

Video Hosting and Sharing (Video on Demand) vendor Kaltura is reporting issues with players not loading and content not playing. The issue may also affect other services that rely on the Kaltura / VPS service, including CornellCast (cornell.edu/video).
Current Status:
The vendor, Kaltura, reports that they have taken steps to mitigate the issue. Some users may still be encountering minor issues, but the vendor expects normal operation sometime this evening.
