Brief Description:
On Saturday, January 23, 2021, the Quest ActiveRoles Server (ARS) will be upgraded between 10:00am and 11:00am. This upgrade also includes the GuestID server. Administrators and users may need to take action to maintain compatibility with the new version.
User Impact:
This change may require administrators and users to take action to maintain compatibility with the new version:
- Quest ARS MMC client users will need to upgrade to the new version; documentation is available at https://it.cornell.edu/cornellad/install-ars-mmc-version-73-console.
- Quest PowerShell users will need to update the modules.
- Quest ARS Web Management tool users will not need to update and will automatically see the newly-designed site.

Due to performance issues discovered during testing, the project team will be postponing the cutover and go-live that had been scheduled for this weekend. We will follow up with a new date for the upgrade when the issue has been addressed.
