There are intermittent service disruptions for applications hosted by Media3 Cloud Hosting. Early analysis suggests a local area or other network connectivity problem outside Cornell and Media3’s systems may be causing inconsistent access to applications.
Current Status:
Media3 has confirmed with Spectrum that they implemented a routing change (fix) early this morning to address the traffic/access issues NY State Spectrum customers were experiencing yesterday. Cornell has confirmed all sites that were impacted yesterday are now accessible from Spectrum clients.

Due to issues in Google's systems, some emails sent from the Lyris e-list service to Google email accounts on December 14, 2020 were rejected. This caused Lyris to put the e-list membership of these accounts on hold.

Performance Issue: Cornell Email to Gmail Accounts

There was a problem with Gmail accounts where affected users experienced error messages, high latency, and other unexpected behavior. Some mail to these accounts was rejected with a message that the account didn't exist.
Current Status:
Google resolved the issue at 6:51pm Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Email being sent now to affected accounts should be delivered normally.

Google has reported an issue affecting many of its services starting Monday, December 14, 2020 at 6:55am. They are working on the problem and say email service has already been restored for some users and they are trying to resolve other services.
Current Status:
Google has provided its final update for this morning's outage, saying most users should be seeing services performing normally, and they are working to resolve any remaining issues. Cornell staff are continuing to monitor Google services in use at the university.
