Resolved: Canvas reports that some third-party tools are not accessible, including Kaltura Media Gallery, Respondus Lock-Down Browser, and some Publisher integrations like Macmillan. Other tools appear to be unaffected at this time.

The issue is resolved. The vendors have addressed the disruption to the affected third-party tools in Canvas.

Performance Issue: Microsoft products prompting to use MS Authenticator instead of Duo

A recent update to the Duo authentication process has resulted in Microsoft apps requesting the use of MS Authenticator instead of Duo. CIT security has investigated and resolved the issue. Please do not install the MS Authenticator.
Current Status:
CIT security has resolved the issue and recommends the following:

  • Users who installed Microsoft Authenticator or another method should now get a Duo prompt. They don't need to uninstall Authenticator or take any actions.
  • Users who prefer to switch back to Duo can open a ticket.
