Performance Issue: Duo Azure Authentication Error

Resolved: There are reports of issues with Duo and potentially Microsoft Office 365 services. See https://status.duo.com/. Duo may display the error, "us.azureauth.duosecurity.com can't currently handle this request."
Current Status:
CIT is still monitoring Duo (Cornell Two-Step Login) issues. Recent problems were caused by two separate issues. The first, signing into Outlook on the web email (outlook.cornell.edu) or accessing other Microsoft-authenticated services like downloads, should be working again. The second, accessing LastPass through a browser extension in Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium-based browser, is still being addressed by the vendor. In the meantime, users should be able to access their LastPass account through their website or mobile app. For more information, see https://status.duo.com/ .

The Salesforce Technology team confirmed that the configuration change to the Load Balancer mitigated the impact. An all-clear has been declared after monitoring performance and completing all health checks. Please let us know if you have any questions or are continuing to experience issues. Resolved: Duo, the vendor for Two-Step Login, reports "Phone call and SMS delivery failures to US and Canada numbers." Duo is currently investigating the issue and is working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Current Status:
Duo reports that the issue causing SMS/Phone Call delivery failures to all numbers is fully resolved and all services are now fully functional. CIT has tested and confirmed that Two-Step Login is working correctly.
