Users of the light version of Outlook on the web have reported issues when trying to use the Search feature. IT staff have confirmed the issue and are consulting Microsoft for more information.
Current Status:
Users needing features that the light version of Outlook on the web either doesn't offer or which aren't reliable are advised to switch to the standard version of Outlook on the Web. This can often be achieved simply by signing out of the Office account, updating your internet browser to a supported version, then signing in again.
