RESOLVED: CIT has verified that the Exchange Email service is once again performing as expected.
Previously, Microsoft 365 Exchange Email Connection issues were reported by customers in Ithaca and at Weill Cornell Medicine. Exchange customers may not be able to access their mailbox using any connection method. CIT is aware of the issue and investigating.
Initial diagnosis: The vendor reported a recent service update to an authentication component was unintentionally preventing access for a subset of users, resulting in intermittent service unavailability. The vendor began a broadly expedited deployment of the configuration change across all affected infrastructure with an expected resolution time of approximately two hours.
