Full Description:
Resolved: Due to the ongoing Microsoft Incident, some emails sent before March 29 may have experienced delays. While Microsoft has corrected the underlying issue, some emails may still be delayed.  Microsoft will deliver all delayed mail. CIT will leave this known issue in place until Microsoft notifies us that they have completed all of the delayed deliveries.

Update: The vendor reports no change to the status of this issue. However, they are proceeding to release incorrectly quarantined email messages back to users’ inboxes to fully remediate the incident's impact.

Previously, Microsoft announced that inbound email messages are being incorrectly quarantined with false alerts in Exchange Online. This resulted from their detection metrics for phishing or spam email messages falsely targeting legitimate email messages. They have adjusted the detection metrics to prevent this from occurring for future email messages, and are releasing affected email messages that were incorrectly quarantined back to users’ inboxes.
