Scheduled Service Change: Jan. 7, 5-5:30am, 10-min outage of campus IT services
All network traffic to the Server Farm will be unavailable for 10 minutes and users will not be able to access services. Network traffic between servers in the Server Farm will also be unavailable except for tier 3 connections which do not go through the routers. Some network connections may hang or be disconnected and will have to be reestablished. Potentially automated processes will be disrupted and will have to be restarted.
There is no workaround for this issue
For about 10 minutes on Friday, January 7, between 5:00 and 5:30 am, all services hosted in the CIT Server Farm will be unavailable. This includes services such as Exchange email and calendar, Kerberos, CUWebLogin, Blackboard, e-lists (Lyris), PeopleSoft, CommonSpot, and many others.
