Brief Description:
In support of the Rhodes Hall elevator replacement project, the CIT Rhodes Hall data center will run on normal building power only--without generator backup power--between 8pm on Sat., Feb. 15, 2025 and 8am Sun., Feb. 16, 2025.
User Impact:
In the event of a building power failure or other power issue while the generator offline, any systems not on UPS battery-backup will go down immediately. Due to limitations with the current UPS battery-backup system, UPS runtime is estimated to only be 10 minutes before systems on backup will go also go down.

In support of the Rhodes Hall elevator replacement project, the CIT Rhodes Hall data center will be without generator backup power starting at 8:00pm on Saturday, February 15, 2025 through 8:00am Sunday, February 16, 2025. During this time, the data center will run on normal building power. Some systems in the Rhodes Hall Data center are also on UPS battery-backup. In the event of a building power failure or other power issue while the generator offline, any systems not on UPS battery-backup will go down immediately.
