Brief Description:
On Tuesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 30, 2025 (two days), between 4-7am each day, replacement of VMC building network switches will take place, resulting in brief network disruptions (including Wi-Fi) to individual devices.
User Impact:
Individual devices will experience a momentary loss of link status on the port. WiFi will also be impacted as the AP’s connections are moved and they reboot.

Full Description:
On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, and Thursday January 30, 2025 (two days), between 4:00-7:00am each day, replacement of VMC (College of Veterinary Medicine) building network switches will take place, resulting in brief network disruptions (including Wi-Fi) to individual devices.
The impacted area for this work will be VMC room numbers C21xx and C22xx. Individual devices will experience a momentary loss of link status on the port. Wi-Fi will also be impacted as the access point connections are moved and while they reboot.
This will complete the work that was started on the week of January 6, 2025. This work has already been announced to the Vet School community through their internal communication channels.
