Brief Description:
The Wi-Fi system nearing user capacity in the area surrounding CCC. A new Wi-Fi controller has been installed to increase capacity in that area. A short Wi-Fi outage (less than 5 minutes) is required on Sunday, September 8 between 5am and 7am.
User Impact:
Users in the affected buildings will experience a short Wi-Fi outage (less than 5 minutes) at some point during the maintenance window as APs are moved.

The Wi-Fi system is seeing increased usage this semester and is showing signs of nearing user capacity in the area surrounding CCC. A new Wi-Fi controller has been proactively installed to increase capacity in that area. A short Wi-Fi outage (less than 5 minutes) is required on Sunday, September 8 between 5am and 7am to move some APs to the new controller. The buildings moving and will experience a Wi-Fi outage during the maintenance window include: 1024(A) - Bailey Hall and Extension 2006 - A.D. White House 2014 - Rockefeller Hall 2019 - Baker Lab 2029 - Newman Lab 2032 - Savage Hall 2032A - Kinzelberg Hall 2040 - Big Red Barn 2076 - Physical Science 2081 - Malott Hall 2082 - Clark Hall 2083 - Olin Chem (ST Olin) 2084 - Space Science
