Brief Description:
CampusPress will be upgrading the MySQL databases to MySQL Version 8.0.x (from 5.7) for all CampusPress networks hosted on AWS on August 21, 2024 from 1AM - 2AM. This upgrade is necessary as AWS is retiring the MySQL engine currently in use.

The Blog Service will be in read-only mode during the maintenance.

Full Description:
CampusPress will be upgrading the MySQL databases to MySQL Version 8.0.x (from 5.7) for all CampusPress networks hosted on AWS on August 21, 2024 from 1AM - 2AM. This upgrade is necessary as AWS is retiring the MySQL engine currently in use. During the upgrade, the CUBlogs network will be in "Read-Only" mode for a maximum of 1 hour. We have minimized this time as much as possible. Visitors to sites hosted with CUBlogs will still be able to access the network, but the network's users will be unable to log in, or edit any content. The following message will be displayed on the front-end of websites, as well as the /wp-login.php pages, during the maintenance window: "Maintenance Notice: This network is in "Read-Only" mode, you won't be able to log in or make any modifications until the scheduled maintenance is completed.
