When the fiber for each building is moved, the building will experience a brief interruption in network connectivity for both wired and wireless network access.

On August 8th, 2024, between approximately 4am and 7am, CIT Network Engineering will be migrating buildings on the Hollister node router to new hardware. This is part of a project to upgrade network capacity and allow for growth across the campus network. During this window, buildings connected to the Hollister's node will experience sporadic interrupted network access.
