Full Description:
Resolved: After troubleshooting with the vendor, CIT worked on server side changes to address inconsistent behavior in the Windows 11 23H2 x 64 2024-06B update in Software Center. As of Thursday, July 11, 2024, the majority of the affected devices have cleared the error preventing updates. There are still some devices in our report with the error, but the number continues to drop. This could be because devices are only recently powered on/checking in or that they require further action. Retry the update on any devices with a failure persisting.
Most reports have been that Retry is working with no additional steps, although a few devices at the library have required the workaround.
On Monday, July 15, we will check again the error report for the remaining device count with the goal of deploying a script to those devices that does the above. Generally the systematic issue is considered resolved and we only expect client side issues are left to resolve.
