Full Description:
Cornell's AT&T local service trunks went down before noon Sunday, June 16, 2024, affecting incoming calls on the Avaya system. A ticket has been opened with AT&T. The problem is only affecting incoming calls. Outgoing calls are being rerouted to other providers. The issue is only affecting phones on the Avaya PBX. Phones that have migrated to RingCentral are not affected. The Tompkins County Sheriff's office is also reporting telephone issues, so there may be a broader problem with telephone service. Cornell Police are aware of the outage. The Statler Hotel is currently not able to receive outside calls.
