Brief Description:
There is an email delivery issue related to a Safe Links policy change made on November 7, 2023. The IT Security Office is working on the security policy to address the issue.
User Impact:
Any forwarded messages could be impacted, including Google Workspace messages. Users should check their spam folders. Safe Links rewrites URLs to protect users from unsafe websites but makes the URLs longer and more complicated. This interferes with email message security (DKIM), increasing the likelihood that messages are misdirected to the spam folder.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue
Current Status:
This issue is resolved. The IT Security Office reverted to using the previous Safe Links security method.
