There are multiple issues with Microsoft Bookings. Cornell staff have opened support cases with Microsoft.

Issues include:
• The format of the meeting invite and meeting sent to the booked staff member has changed. This issue is affecting the Salesforce Student Engagement Platform.
• If a Bookings Meeting is updated or rescheduled the staff member is not informed of the update. In other words, they do not receive the meeting on their own calendar with the updated time.
• If a Bookings Meeting is updated, the customer can book the meeting at any time regardless of the availability set by Bookings hours as prescribed in the Bookings Site or Service.
• Bookings exclude staff times that are marked as tentative on the staff member's calendar as available for creating a booking.
• Bookings (Bookings with Me) when configuring a private site, the links that can be sent to a person are invalid.

These issues are also affecting some services that use Microsoft Bookings, such as the Salesforce Student Advising platform that handles student appointments. In order to address one of the identified problems, where meeting records are not being automatically generated in Salesforce, Advisors from the affected sites will need to manually create these meeting records within the Salesforce system. Additionally, there may be issues related to rescheduled appointments, as well as impacts due to the other issues outlined in this major incident report.
