Brief Description:
On August 1, 2023 CU Print devices will be moved to a secure release configuration that will give patrons the option to review their print jobs before physically printing.
User Impact:
The default methodology for interacting with CU Print devices will change from fast release to secure release. Fast Release: User taps their ID card at the CU Print device and all jobs in the user's queue are automatically released to the device for printing Standard Release: User taps their ID card at the CU Print device and a screen is displayed giving the user information about the jobs being held in their queue. User can then interact with the screen to release all or some of the jobs
