Brief Description:
On July 23, 2023 changes to Zoom will include improvements to Zoom calendar integration and increased share options for Zoom recordings and Zoom reports.
User Impact:
Changes will be visible on in individual user's Zoom account settings. Apart from this, visibility should be limited to a small subset of users with existing Zoom-calendar sync issues which may be fixed by this configuration change.
Calendar bi-directionality is already present and can be enabled by end users, but is not on by default. This change will make enabled the new default. Individual users can disable the setting if they prefer not to have enabled.
Delegate access permissions will not be enabled by default for any users, but will make this setting available so that it can be turned on by individuals if they wish to grant recording or report access to someone else (restricted to users on the main Cornell Zoom instance).

The following Zoom configuration changes include:
1) Enable, as the Cornell default, the setting to automatically synchronize Zoom calendar event information bi-directionally between Zoom and integrated calendars. This is expected to resolve potential issues with Zoom calendar integrations, primarily date/time mis-matches between Outlook calendar entries and Zoom meetings.
2) Allow Cornell Zoom users to grant access to their Zoom cloud recording, Zoom reports, or both to those they have given scheduling privilege to in Zoom. This will provide an option for cloud recordings and reports to be accessible to scheduling delegates. The option will be available in the Zoom account settings.
