Brief Description:
Search in Microsoft 365 may be unavailable to some users. CIT has reported the issue to Microsoft and Microsoft is working on this problem.
User Impact:
Users may be unable to use the search functionality in multiple Microsoft 365 services. More info: Impacted services include, but are not limited to: - Microsoft Teams - SharePoint Online - Outlook desktop client - Outlook on the Web
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue
Current Status:
Search is working for 99% of searches. CIT is converting this issue to a problem ticket until Microsoft solves the problem for the remaining 1% of searches. Microsoft has reported that this will take some time. CIT will continue to monitor the problem until it is solved.

They are testing short-term solutions. If successful, they will push their change to their production environment. In addition, about 1% of active search traffic is still impacted. The search functionality is restored, however, the issue may persist while the patch takes effect. Microsoft estimates that about 10 percent of search queries may return only partial search results.
