User Impact:
Applications use DNS name(directory.cornell.edu) to connect to the Campus directory servier. This DNS name relies on DNS round robin.During this period, applications that have been connected to the server that is down will fail.\n\nAll applications such as People Soft, Cornell.edu search page, Provisioning etc use this DNS name . These applications will fail if they get connected to the server that is down.\n
