Brief Description:
The Azure Authentication project is upgrading the sign-in process for Microsoft services like Office 365 and Azure. CIT will migrate to Azure Authentication on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, with colleges and units to follow.
User Impact:
This change will force a re-authentication to Office 365 applications and Duo Two-Step Login on all devices the following morning. This includes laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, and web browsers.

As previously announced, the Azure Authentication project is upgrading the sign-in process for Microsoft services like Office 365 and Azure, ensuring that Cornell has the latest authentication security and features. CIT will migrate to Azure Authentication on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, with colleges and units to follow. This upgrade will help protect access to the Microsoft applications and services you rely on every day.
While the new Microsoft sign-in looks slightly different, you will continue to log in as you do now with a Cornell NetID and password. To preview the sign-in experience, visit https://it.cornell.edu/auth/azure-authentication-logins .
