Full Description:
Issues were detected affecting the network router nyc1-ex, located in New York City. Locations and services which were impacted included:
- Primary AWS Direct Connect (the service failed over to the backup)
- 570 Lexington Ave. NYC offices
- Ruffian Equine Medical Center in Elmont, NY
- Weill Medical Center DR Tunnel to Ithaca
- Azzurro Video Conferencing circuit
A hardware issue caused a line card failure. The line card was remotely reloaded, restoring service. Timeline: failure occurred at 9:11am; fully recovered by 9:30am.
