Brief Description:
Apple has published updates to MacOS devices for a Zero-day vulnerability. Malicious actors can execute arbitrary code on affected devices. Apple states this vulnerability is being actively exploited. Patch Now.
Current Status:
Apple has published Safari 15.6.1 separately for macOS 10.15 Catalina and macOS 11 Big Sur to resolve one of the published vulnerabilities. Users of these operating systems should apply any pending software updates and verify they are running Safari 15.6.1.

Launch Safari. Navigate to Safari > About Safari. If Safari is listed as Version 15.6.1 or newer, you are protected.

To update navigate to the Apple Logo > System Preferences > Software Updates.

MacOS Devices:
To check if your device is updated, navigate to the Apple Logo > About This Mac. If your Device is listed as 12.5.1 or higher, you are protected.

Users should apply the following updates:
• MacOS 12.5.1 or higher

For Certified Desktop customers:
• Updates are currently available and need to be manually applied. To update navigate to the Apple Logo > System Preferences > Software Updates.

Users who do not have a managed computer should check for updates and install them.
