Brief Description:
On November 1-3, 2021 the CIT Cloud Team will update the Cornell Standard AWS CloudTrail Configuration.
User Impact:
CloudTrail configuration within each AWS account will be transitioned away from account-specific CloudTrails to a single CloudTrail that is defined at an Organizational level for all Cornell AWS accounts. These changes will simplify CloudTrail configuration and reduce costs to AWS accounts within the Cornell AWS Organization.

On November 1-3, 2021 the CIT Cloud Team will update the Cornell Standard AWS CloudTrail Configuration. Specifically, CloudTrail configuration within each AWS account will be transitioned away from account-specific CloudTrails to a single CloudTrail that is defined at an Organizational level for all Cornell AWS accounts. These changes will simplify CloudTrail configuration and reduce costs to AWS accounts within the Cornell AWS Organization.
There will be no outages of any AWS services during this update. Customers do not need to take any action.
