Academic Web Hosting static-html websites will be migrating to a new webserver in the AWS cloud on October 12, 2021, between 5-7am. This migration is also part of the CUWebAuth to Shibboleth change.

Customer-owned static academic hosting websites will be live on new servers in AWS. Customers will need to update their file transfer app configuration, and website update process. Link to TDX KB article(s) containing instructions for changes to website update process have been sent to customers. While it is possible that some websites may have been broken due to application upgrades, we think this is unlikely. Customers have nearly two weeks to identify and remediate any site issues prior to cut-over ("go live") on new server. Academic Web Hosting service support team are prepared to assist customers with website issues they might uncover, particularly those related to CUWA-Shibboleth authentication.

Impacted sites include: all websites hosted on courses.cit.cornell.edu, people.orie.cornell.edu, people.cam.cornell.edu, and static web hosting sites with custom hostnames on the courses.cit.cornell.edu web server.
