The Cornell Optional Email Alias (COEA) application, accessed through the Email tab on https://www.whoiam.cornell.edu, will be unavailable from 5pm Monday, September 27, 2021, to 8am Tuesday, September 28, 2021, while updates are being made.
User Impact:
The Cornell Optional Email Alias (COEA) application, accessed through the Email tab on https://www.whoiam.cornell.edu, will be unavailable from 5pm Monday, September 27, 2021, to 8am Tuesday, September 28, 2021, while updates are being made.
Customers will be unable to request new COEAs during this period. There are no other effects. Existing COEAs will continue to work and there will be no effect on any other mail flows.

The Cornell Optional Email Alias (COEA) application, accessed through the Email tab on https://www.whoiam.cornell.edu, will be unavailable from 5pm Monday, September 27, 2021, to 8am Tuesday, September 28, 2021, while updates are being made.
Please note:
- The update will not affect existing email alias addresses.
- Mail delivery to email alias addresses will not be affected by the update.
- During the maintenance window, users will be unable to request new optional email addresses.
- After the maintenance window ends on Tuesday morning, users will once again be able to request Cornell optional email addresses.
- Changes will only affect the backend of the application and the end-user experience will not change.
