On Sunday, September 19, 2021, between 12:01am and 3:00pm, Cornell's Zoom contract will be renewed. This change will result in a brief period of time where Cornell Zoom webinar licenses will be unavailable to users.

The impact will be limited to those Cornell users who have Zoom webinar licenses when this change takes place. There are currently about 500 Cornell Zoom users with webinar licenses. All other Zoom use should be unaffected, but webinar licenses will not be available to users during this change. Users will be unable to schedule, edit, or start Zoom webinars during this time. Already scheduled webinars will still be saved and will be accessible again after the change is completed.

Due to an unforeseen interaction between the contract renewal and the recent increase in webinar capacities, this change will result in a brief period of time where Cornell Zoom webinar licenses will be unavailable to users. This change may not require the full scheduled time. During this time, Cornell users will not have access to their webinar licenses and will be unable to schedule or host Zoom webinars.

Currently, no upcoming webinars have been scheduled by Cornell users during the maintenance window. This issue impacts webinars only. Zoom meetings (hosting, scheduling, or managing) will be unaffected. Cornell Zoom users who do not already have webinar licenses are also unaffected.
