Brief Description:
On Monday, December 14, 2020, between 5am and 7am, CIT Network Engineering will replace the hardware supporting the campus NAT and ITSO Transproxy services.
User Impact:
Campus systems on non-routable address space (RFC 1918) will not be able to reach out to the Internet during the migration. Access will resume after the migration.

On Monday, December 14, 2020, between 5am and 7am, CIT Network Engineering will replace the hardware supporting the campus NAT and ITSO Transproxy services.
The NAT service provides Internet access for the campus wireless networks and a small number of Departmental NAT networks.. The ITSO Transproxy service provides access to vetted vendor sites for campus resources to download updates.
There will be a brief outage (less than 5 minutes) of both services during the maintenance window.
