Brief Description:
Clipping of some entries created more than 48 hours ago within Kaltura Video Editor is currently unavailable. There may also be delays in Video on Demand (VOD) entries receiving automatic machine-generated captions.
User Impact:
Kaltura Video Editor users trying to clip entries created more than 48 hours ago may experience an error in the Editor when attempting to clip these entries. New entries are not affected. There may also be delays in Video on Demand (VOD) entries receiving automatic machine-generated captions. The queue for captioning is higher than normal.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue
Current Status:
The vendor has applied a fix for the Kaltura Video Editor clipping issue, which is believed to be resolved, though the vendor is still monitoring to ensure service. Kaltura also applied a fix for the automatic machine-generated captions delay. Some delays may still be present for a few hours as the system catches up on the captioning backlog.
