Vendor Announcement: Release Notes
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

TeamDynamix is happy to announce that version 11.2 will be released on October 10, 2020. This release will include significant enhancements to Service Management, Project Portfolio Management, and the TeamDynamix platform.

Version 11.2 Overview
Version 11.2 includes key enhancements for Service Management, Project Portfolio Management, and the TeamDynamix Platform.

Platform Enhancements:

Notify All on Feed Replies
TeamDynamix will now notify everyone in a feed thread whenever someone comments on or replies to that thread. Customer technicians will no longer need to worry about notifying the right people on feed comments and replies. Fewer messages will be missed and customers will be able to provide better service.

Password Hardening
TeamDynamix now supports password expiration, password history, or password complexity requirements.

People App Accessibility
The People application is now WCAG 2.0 AA compliant. TeamDynamix continues to improve the accessibility of our applications with one new major area being supported in each release.

Send Reports to Client Users
We used to allow client users to receive emailed reports but removed this ability in a bug/security fix. Client users can once again be selected for email report delivery.

Project Portfolio Management Enhancements:

Program Management
Users will be able to define a program—a group of projects and requests—which they can manage within Analysis. Programs will work a lot like Portfolios, but they can be included as members of a larger Portfolio. You can now manage your projects at both the Program and Portfolio level, giving additional flexibility to how you manage your PMO.

Resource Pool Detail Page
A Resource Pool Details page will be added to TDNext, which will be available from reports, person details, resource assignments, and the People application. This will make resourcing decisions easier and help reduce the burden on administrators.

Service Management Enhancements:

Connect Ticket Workflows to TDX IPaaS
Ticketing workflows integrate seamlessly with TDX IPaaS, which will process quickly without waiting for 5 minutes. Talk to your Customer Success team to learn more. A new ticket workflow step allows you to launch a TDX IPaaS flow, wait for it to complete, and continue the workflow based on the results.

Warn Users when Closing Tickets with Incomplete Tasks
Technicians will now be warned when they close a ticket that there are open tasks. Armed with this information, they can intelligently decide whether to close those tasks, continue with closing the ticket, or cancel their action.

Replies to Merged Tickets
We’ve made working with merged tickets easier by making replies to merged tickets show up automatically on the new ticket.

Knowledge Management Enhancements:

View Articles Regardless of Status permission
Technicians, especially technicians in a KCS Candidate role, often need the ability to see all articles within relevant areas of the knowledge base, without the ability to see unpublished articles that are outside of their domain. A new “View Articles Regardless of Status” security role permission allows users to view articles in any status without removing group-based restrictions.
