On October 7, 2020, the CIT Cloud Team will enable AWS IAM Access Analyzer in all active regions for all Cornell AWS accounts. IAM Access Analyzer generates comprehensive findings that identify resources that can be accessed from outside an AWS account.

There will be no outages of any AWS services during this update.

Full Description:
On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, the CIT Cloud Team will enable AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Access Analyzer in all active regions for all Cornell AWS accounts. IAM Access Analyzer generates comprehensive findings that identify resources that can be accessed from outside an AWS account. A review of these findings can assist in identifying external access that is no longer needed and can be removed, or that can be reduced in scope.

There will be no outages of any AWS services during this update.
