Full Description:
The CIT Cloud Team will be updating the IAM resources in Cornell AWS accounts that allow access to those accounts by CloudCheckr, the cost management and reporting tool Cornell uses for AWS billing. Specifically, new IAM roles will be created within each AWS account for CloudCheckr to use, and any IAM Roles, Users, and Policies previously used by CloudCheckr will be removed.

The AWS privileges required by CloudCheckr to provide detailed reporting on AWS billing and resources change over time as new AWS services are released and existing services are updated. This maintenance will ensure that CloudCheckr uses the most current set of privileges for all AWS accounts.

There will be no outages of any AWS or CloudCheckr services during this update.
