Brief Description:
Attempts to sign into the Zoom web interface through zoom.us and cornell.zoom.us are not working. Zoom meetings appear to be running normally. Zoom is working on the issue, which is affecting their service overall.
User Impact:
Attempts to sign into zoom.us or cornell.zoom.us are unsuccessful. An error message suggesting there is no account or there are billing issues appears.
Workaround:
If you are trying to attend a meeting and clicking on a link isn't working, try entering the meeting number and password in the Zoom application.
While in the Zoom app, click Join, then enter the meeting number. It's a string of numbers about eleven numbers long, and may be called out as "Meeting ID" in your meeting invitation. It also can be found as part of the URL in your meeting link, for example after cornell.zoom.us/j/ .
After you enter the meeting number into the app, it may ask you for a password or passcode. This might be in your invitation email under "Passcode."
