Brief Description:
An upgrade of the CU VPN client, AnyConnect, will be configured in the CU VPN servers on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 5am-7am EST. Once configured, AnyConnect clients will automatically upgrade on client machines when they log into the service.
User Impact:
Once configured, AnyConnect clients will automatically upgrade on client machines when they log into the service. Upon CU VPN login, a window will appear indicating a new AnyConnect client is being downloaded and upgraded. When finished, the new version launches and logs the client into CU VPN automatically. Administrative privilege is not required for AnyConnect self-upgrade. This upgrade helps CU VPN compatibility for macOS 10.13, 10.14, 10.15; Windows 8, 8.1, 10; and 64-bit Linux clients. iOS and Android versions are upgraded by the respective App Store/Google Play versions.
