Brief Description:
On Sat., July 11, 2020, between 5am-7am EST, most wireless access points on Cornell's central Wi-Fi system will be migrated to new wireless controllers and upgraded to the latest code, resulting in a 10-15 minute service interruption for the areas listed.
User Impact:
During the maintenance window, Wi-Fi services, including eduroam, RedRover, and Cornell-Visitor, will be interrupted for 10-15 minutes in the following areas:
Ithaca Campus (excluding Rhodes node buildings previously migrated on June 6, 2020. See list of exclusions below.*)

Ruffian Equine Center
ILR Office in NYC
ILR Office in Buffalo

Full Description:
On Saturday, July 11, 2020, between 5am and 7am EST, most wireless access points on the central Cornell Wi-Fi system will be migrated to new wireless controllers and upgraded to the latest code. Work will be completed one node at a time over the duration of the the maintenance window. At some point during the window, Wi-Fi services, including eduroam, RedRover, and Cornell-Visitor, will be interrupted for 10-15 minutes while the access points are migrated and upgraded.
The following areas will be affected:
Ithaca Campus (excluding Rhodes node buildings previously migrated on June 6, 2020. See list of exclusions below.*)
