CIT has become aware that users are encountering an issue with Two-Step Login, affecting devices running MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) and using Safari as the default browser. The issue is preventing the “Remember Me for 24 Hours” checkbox from working as expected

Workaround:
Until the fix is available, CIT recommends that users either use a different browser to authenticate (that is, not Safari) or that they complete the Two-Step Login authentication each time without taking advantage of the “Remember Me” feature.

The vendor, Duo, has released a fix for this issue. Those encountering further issues with Two-Step Login using Safari on devices running macOS 10.14 (Mojave) should contact the IT Service Desk at 255-5500 or itservicedesk@cornell.edu.

CIT has become aware that users are encountering an issue with Two-Step Login, affecting devices running MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) and using Safari as the default browser. The issue is preventing the “Remember Me for 24 Hours” checkbox from working as expected.

The vendor, Duo, is aware of this issue and plans to release a fix during the first week of December.

Until the fix is available, CIT recommends that users either use a different browser to authenticate (that is, not Safari) or that they complete the Two-Step Login authentication each time without taking advantage of the “Remember Me” feature.
