On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, between 12 midnight and 11:59pm, Lynda.com will be unavailable while the vendor upgrades the service to their new platform, called LinkedIn Learning.
LinkedIn Learning will have all of the same courses and other materials as Lynda.com. It will also have the learning history, account information, and certifications that users had in Lynda.com.
After the upgrade, users will be prompted to choose whether to connect their LinkedIn account (if they have one) to their new LinkedIn Learning account. If they choose not to, it's fine -- they'll still have full access to LinkedIn Learning; it just won't be as personalized since it won't have info from their LinkedIn profile.
