Brief Description:
On Friday, June 28, 2019, between 2:00am-6:00am ET, Blackboard Managed Hosting Engineers (vendor) will perform maintenance on the Blackboard data center where Cornell's Blackboard resides.
User Impact:
While we anticipate no interruption in service as a result of the work, we cannot entirely rule out brief periods of intermittent connectivity as network traffic adjusts, or a quick restart of services on a few client systems if warranted. During the maintenance window, all efforts will be made to keep service disruption, if any, to a minimum. Products: Blackboard Collaborate and Blackboard Learn.
Note that the vast majority of Cornell summer courses are being delivered via Canvas. Fewer than 25 courses are known to be delivered via Blackboard.
