Brief Description:
DNSDB Production servers will undergo standard operating system updates.
User Impact:
The DNSdb server providing several functions including Network Registry, Network Quarantine, DNS data, CIT's DHCP data and network management. A DNSdb server outage does not impact ongoing DNS or DHCP services, which are provided by separate servers. It does prevent updates to DNS and DHCP throughout the outage. For the duration, users cannot register new computers, for RedRover, etc, and NetAdmins cannot make use of DNSdb add/delete/change/display functions.
