CIT will conduct semi-annual OS patching for Academic Web Hosting servers on Monday, December 17, 2018 from midnight until 4:00am.
User Impact:
Users will be unable to access their Academic web-hosted sites while systems are patched and/or rebooting.

Full Description:
CIT will conduct semi-annual OS patching for Academic Web Hosting servers on Monday, December 17, 2018 from midnight until 4:00am. Websites and applications hosted on these servers (courses.cit.cornell.edu, courses2.cit.cornell.edu) will be unavailable while patching occurs. Although we are allotting four hours for patching to occur, generally it is completed in a much shorter period of time. We have tried to schedule this outage to minimize disruption for course websites.
