An update to the academic web hosting stack will be put into production Wednesday, November 30 2018 during the period 5:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. This update to underlying software libraries addresses system security and will not have a visible to effort to service users. Each web server will be unavailable for approximately 45 seconds while the change is implemented. This will impact all web sites hosting on courses.cit.cornell.edu, courses2.cit.cornell.edu, and fit.cit.cornell.edu, including many instructional sites that may be known by alternative urls.
