Brief Description:
The Pinnacle database and the Custom APEX database will have Oracle patches applied by the DBA team. This is a shadow ticket for systems ticket CRQ000001030531
User Impact:
Just before Oracle patches are scheduled to begin... (1) the httpd services on the Pinnacle web server will be stopped (2) The AWS web server instance will be stopped Users will not be able to access Pinnacle or Custom Apex until patching is complete and httpd is restarted. Despite the outage, the impact will be minor because usage of Pinnacle is low outside of normal business hours.

Pinnacle and the Custom Apex applications (NCS Dashboards, Building Coordinator Dashboards, Student Request for Services Form, and Pinnacle Monthly Statement Email Notification Opt In/Opt Out form) will be unavailable to users beginning at 8pm in order to apply semi-annual Oracle database patches. Though the stated outage window is until 12am, Pinnacle and the Custom Apex applications are likely to be available by 9pm.
