Student Email Routing/Forwarding Change October 7, 2018
User Impact:
The change is expected to have no noticeable effect on any student who gets their mail only in their Cornell Google account, either by signing in at gsuite.cornell.edu or cmail.cornell.edu, or by using an application connected to that account. However, for those students who had previously set-up forwarding and did not remove it during the communication campaign announcing the change they may report not getting mail in another email system that they were previously forwarding to.

Email to student accounts continues uninterrupted at gsuite.cornell.edu (cmail.cornell.edu continues to work, too). No impact is expected as this was previously used for faculty and staff migrations. However, students who did not remove forwarding from Who I Am during prior communications may report not receiving email to an account they were previously forwarding to. Forwarding can be re-set up through Cmail by following these instructions: https://it.cornell.edu/cmail/forward-cmail-external-address
