Performance Issue: Office 365 Offline Address Book, Additional email accounts in Outlook

Brief Description:
Offline Address Books are not being updated properly for Outlook for Windows and Mac. In addition to affecting searches for contacts, this problem also is preventing new additional accounts, such as EGAs, from being added to Outlook for Windows and Mac.
User Impact:
Contact searches in Outlook for Windows or Mac can only be performed after selecting "All Users." Additional accounts, like EGAs, cannot be added in Outlook for Windows or Outlook for Mac.
Workaround:
Selecting "All Users" allows searches to be performed. To access accounts that can’t currently be added to Outlook apps, sign into Outlook on the Web ( http://outlook.cornell.edu ), click your profile in the upper right and select Open another mailbox… . Type the address of the account and click Open.
Current Status:
While Microsoft continues to work to identify and pursue a way to fix this problem, a knowledge article has been created to act as documentation for the known issue. Cornell staff are providing testing and other assistance to Microsoft's efforts as needed.
