Brief Description:
We will be upgrading the Operating System on the Net-Print Linux administrative server (admin.net-print.cornell.edu) from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 to CentOS 7. This change is necessary to discontinue the use of SMB1 for client access to SFS shares.
User Impact:
There will be no impact to printing, impact is expected for Administrators and Operators who use the administrative pages on this server. The page will not be available during the cutover and pointing to the web pages (DNS change).

We will be upgrading the Operating System on the Net-Print Linux administrative server (admin.net-print.cornell.edu) from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 to CentOS 7. This change is necessary to discontinue the use of SMB1 for client access to SFS shares.
There will be a brief outage for some printing functions on these pages during this period.
