Brief Description:
Cornell email aliases (COEA) will be added to Cornell Box accounts. Collaboration invitations sent to email aliases will be correctly linked to the correct user.
User Impact:
Users will not receive any notification of this event, though they will be able to see it in their account settings on Box. The only effect of the change will be that collaboration invitations sent to email aliases will be correctly linked to the correct user.

This change will benefit Box users who have Cornell email aliases (COEA). Email aliases will be added to Cornell Box accounts. Prior to this change, users could add their own aliases, but many didn’t know to do so. Box collaboration invitations sent to a COEA will work the same way that ones sent to their NetID@cornell.edu email address always have.
