Brief Description:
For about a week requests for Cornell Optional Email Aliases were not being processed. The requests have been put through, all requested email aliases are available to the individuals that asked for them, and the process is now working for new requests.
User Impact:
A delay in the provision of a requested email alias.

There is no workaround for this issue

All requested email aliases have been provided and new requests are being processed as they are received.

Full Description:
Due to a configuration issue, for about a week requests for Cornell Optional Email Aliases were not being processed. The requests went into a queue, which has now been put through. All requested email aliases are available to the individuals that asked for them, and the process is now working for new requests. Existing email aliases were not affected by this issue, and email sent to them was delivered properly. For more information about the service, visit https://it.cornell.edu/alias
